Designed for the Long Term
We design around performance, reliability, serviceability, and how the system will actually be used—not simply what gets it through installation day.
The Running Tuba Difference
Good integration is as much about how the project is handled as the equipment that goes into it.
A successful audio, video, and lighting (AVL) project is more than a collection of equipment. It’s how the system is planned, how the details are handled, how people are treated throughout the process, and what happens after installation. Running Tuba was built through relationships, and we believe those relationships should continue long after a project is complete. These are the principles that guide how we approach our work.
We design around performance, reliability, serviceability, and how the system will actually be used—not simply what gets it through installation day.
Audio, video, and lighting work rarely happens in isolation. We coordinate with construction schedules, openings, events, school calendars, and ongoing operations so our work fits the larger project and the dates that matter.
We build proposals around what the project actually requires. We clearly define what is included, explain the options, and identify decisions that could affect cost, performance, or scope.
From discovery and design through procurement, installation, programming, commissioning, training, and support, we manage the system as one connected project.
The work behind the walls and inside the rack matters too. Cable management, labeling, terminations, rack construction, testing, and documentation are handled with the same attention as the parts everyone sees.
We start by understanding the space, the people using it, and what they need to accomplish. Technology comes after that. The system should fit the customer—not require the customer to fit the system.
A system isn’t truly ready if the people using it aren’t comfortable with it. Before handoff, we provide practical, hands-on training around the way your team will use the system every day.
Integrated systems often cross audio, video, lighting, control, networking, programming, and other trades. When questions arise, we help coordinate the pieces rather than leaving the customer to sort out who is responsible.
We consider future growth from the beginning—whether that means expanding the system, adding capabilities, adapting a space, or integrating new technology. The goal is to make thoughtful decisions today that give customers options tomorrow rather than unnecessarily limiting where their system can go.
We approach each project with the relationship beyond installation in mind. That means supporting the system after go-live, helping customers plan for future needs, and being there as their technology and spaces evolve. Our goal isn’t simply to complete a project—it’s to become a trusted resource our customers can continue to rely on.
